The National Seniors Productive Ageing Centre collaborates with the National Policy Office to ensure that research findings are translated into advocacy and political action. The National Policy Office advocates directly to government, business and the broader community on behalf of all Australians aged 50 and over. They work closely with National Seniors Australia's national, state and territory policy groups and an extensive network of state offices, branches and zone committees to determine issues of importance to senior Australians, identify trends in ageing, and develop evidence-based policy priorities. The National Policy Office also plays a role in building relationships with a range of government departments, peak bodies and national associations in order to further develop practical solutions to address the needs of seniors and an ageing population.
